Resolution: This will you a list of resolutions to choose from. By tapping the drop down you can manually set this.
Refresh Rates: This will show you the available refresh rate for the device based on the current monitor it is outputting to. By tapping the drop down you can manually set this. This is handy to adjust on set to eliminate screen flicker, ghosting and blurring.
Screen Rotation: This will default at 0 degrees. You can tap the drop down to rotate the display to 0, 90, 180, 270.
Screen Flip: This will flip the screen along the X or Y axis. Tap the drop down to select, then choose the radio button selection to invert the display horizontally or vertical.
Apply: As the name implies, this will apply the settings chosen above. Once applied, these will be retained on reboot.
If a second display is plugged in to the device, an additional window will appear for HDMI-02.
When experiencing flicker on camera or ghosting, adjusting the refresh rate on the monitors here can help to eliminate that.
Rule of thumb is to adjust the refresh rate to match or double the camera frame rate.
When shooting at 24fps adjust the display refresh rate to 24Hz or 48Hz if available on the display.
