Installed AI Models
By default pd Script installs llama3.2 3B to get started.
Installed models will be available here.
AI Model License
The License for the selected model is available when clicking on the License menu item.
The license will be displayed in a new window and can be saved as needed.
Installing other AI Models
A selection of best in class AI models are available to install and use.
When selecting a new model it will be installed and used when the next script is processed.
After install, the new model will be shown in the main AI Model menu options.
Make sure you have sufficient hard drive space to download additional models - between 2~8GB in size each.
Note that the bigger AI Models will be significantly slower but offer better results in many cases. See below for size information.
Note using bigger models will work even on older Macs - it will just take a very long time. Other tasks and apps should be avoided to speed things up.
AI Model options
We included a list of cutting edge smaller models to use, that work extremely well on M series Apple Macs.
The models from each provider is listed in order of size.
The 'B' number after the name denotes the parameter size of the model.
The bigger the model the slower the performance but could offer better results.
For best results ★ we recommend Llama 3.1 7B and Qwen 2.5 7B.
